After its new status as a Community Based Organisation, TUSA adopted a number of goals
which different objectives. These are as follows:
Goal 1: To develop the spirit of solidarity, human dignity volunteerism and mutual help among TUSA family members.
Objectives
- To create awareness about solidarity, human dignity, voluntarism and mutual help for 100 members on a monthly basis for three years.
- To enhance competencies (skills, knowledge) of 100 members on solidarity, voluntarism and mutual help through training on a termly basis within three years.
- To create a platform for youths (professional youths, scout, girl guides etc.) to share, interact and learn about TUSA on a termly basis.
- To cultivate in all TUSA members the spirit of human respect, love, values and rights on daily basis.
- To review and enhance the legal status and integration of new TUSA members on a monthly basis.
- To provide advocacy services to all vulnerable members, persons with special needs of TUSA on daily basis.
- To promote the culture of interreligious tolerance, cooperation and cohesion in TUSA.
Goal 2: To empower TUSA community members with holistic education.
Objectives
- To ensure access to basic, quality and ethical education for a 100% TUSA children yearly.
- To facilitate a 100% transition in basic education yearly
- To facilitate 150 youth access to vocational training, in three years
- To facilitate 70% of trained youth, get internship, job placement,
- To provide skills and resources for self-employment within 12 months.
- To offer workshop on general spiritual, mental and physical health to all TUSA members quarterly.
Goal 3: To enhance sustainability of TUSA and its members.n.
Objectives
- To develop and instil the sprit and practice of Self-sustenance in all TUSA members every three months.
- To create an office for resources mobilization within a month.
- To create a micro-finance service with clear policies and guidelines within six months.
- To train 50 members of each solidarity group in Management and Entrepreneurship quarterly.
- To facilitate accessibility to financial resources (loans, soft loans, grants) to 300 members yearly.
- To collect 70% of loan repayment every six months.
- To raise 2 million per year and to support pastoral, active non-violence and socio-cultural activities and to empower the most vulnerable families.
- To contribute 50 shillings per family monthly in every solidarity group towards a solidarity coffer to cater for members’ urgent needs.
- To acquire a piece of land and develop infrastructure for income generating within three years
Goal 4. To develop and maintain cordial relationship with stakeholders
Objectives
- To create and enhance linkages with all stakeholders through effective and constant communication
- To involve former TUSA members in order to exchange ideas and new insights for enhanced TUSA operation on a termly basis.
- To identify source resources amongst stakeholders, partners former and current TUSA members on a daily basis.
Goal 5. To enhance the management of TUSA.
Objectives
- To establish organizational chart before the launch of the strategic plan 2022-2024.
- To fully implement the Strategic plan within three years.
- To review and update systems, policies, and procedures in line with TUSA constitution and strategic plan within three months.
